Featuring flexible pipes at the front, this Link Pipe Set (SS) allows for the removal of the standard exhaust's catalytic converters, providing a more direct gas flow compared to a Ferrari 296 GTB equipped with the stock system. Tests conducted by Akrapovič engineers, comparing vehicles with the standard stock exhaust and the Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) with the Link Pipe Set (SS), showed lower backpressure from the Akrapovič installation, offering potential performance gains with mandatory ECU remapping. The Link Pipe Set (SS), when combined with the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium), gives the entire system an exhilarating sound with a raw and powerful low-RPM roar that transitions into an exciting high-frequency racing tone.
