The Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system, crafted from proprietary titanium, is engineered to enhance the performance, improve engine response, and reduce the weight of the BMW M6. The system features new dual-outlet mufflers with integrated valves, flow-optimized tubing, and a unique cast titanium X-section with resonators.
The optimized design reduces backpressure, delivering a power increase across the entire RPM range without the need to remove the stock catalytic converters. Engine response and the power-to-weight ratio are improved. The sound profile is deep and sporty, escalating to an aggressive tone under load, without any unwanted drone.
The system is fully compatible with the BMW M6's Active Sound Control (ANC) system. Valve operation is managed through the vehicle's stock settings. The aesthetic can be further enhanced with an optional set of four titanium or carbon fiber tailpipes.
