BMS High-Capacity Heat Exchanger for BMW S55 F80 M3 / F82 F83 M4

What this part does

The BMS heat exchanger replaces the factory S55 charge-air cooling unit with a larger core and fluid capacity. It helps manage intake temperatures during repeated runs and reduces heat soak when the stock cooler is overwhelmed.

Options and installation

Burger lists about twice the surface area and more than three times the fluid volume of the stock unit. Installation is bolt-in and reversible without modification. The supplier title marks it out of stock; verify availability before sale.

Fitment

For Burger-listed 2015–2019 BMW F80 M3 and 2015–2020 F82/F83 M4 with S55, including GTS/CS. Do not confuse it with the water-side intercooler core.
