Keep Oil Out of Your G Chassis GEN2 B58 X5/X6 BMW Air Intake System It’s no secret that turbo BMW motors can suffer from oil control problems, allowing oil to blow through and coat the intercooler and charge piping. This buildup contaminates intake valves and the VANOS system, lowers effective octane, and degrades engine performance. The higher the boost, the more apparent these problems become. The solution has finally arrived: the Burger Motorsports Oil Catch Can. While many catch cans exist, they fall short in critical areas. Some are mounted on the hot turbo side, preventing proper vapor condensation. Others use undersized hoses or excessive routing that restrict PCV flow and can cause crankcase pressure and sealing issues. Many feature ineffective or overly restrictive baffle systems, and some even vent crankcase gases to the atmosphere. Burger Motorsports engineered this oil catch can kit from the ground up specifically for turbo BMW applications. It features 100% CNC machining with zero welding for a precision fit and long service life. The can is guaranteed for the life of the vehicle. Oversized hoses exceed OEM PCV diameter and maintain consistent flow throughout the system, eliminating horsepower-robbing crankcase pressure buildup. The BMS oil separator retains a fully closed-loop factory PCV system, preventing vapor from escaping into the atmosphere. Carefully chosen mounting locations minimize hose length, improve efficiency, and maintain a stealth OEM-style appearance. Installation takes approximately 10 minutes, includes all required hardware, and is fully reversible. Empty the can during oil changes by unscrewing the base or using the drain plug. Made in the USA. New transparent oil catch can base available as an option or sold separately as an upgrade here. ️ The BMS silicone intake hose is required to install and use this catch can. Works with the OEM intake or the BMS Billet Intake for 2019–2023 G Chassis BMW X5, X6, and X7.
