What the Direct CANbus harness does
The plug-and-play harness connects JB4 directly to CANbus at the ECU, avoiding routing an OBDII/CAN cable through the firewall into the cabin. This simplifies installation and frees the OBDII port for another scan tool.
Operating requirements and passive mode
Compatible JB4/JB4PRO firmware and settings are required; for JB4PRO B58/S58, the supplier specifies option 11 to enable and option 12 for passive mode. Passive mode uses read-only basic channels; AFR and timing corrections may be unavailable. Not compatible with 2025+ Gen3 B48/B58.
