This radiator features a 2-row core with CSF's exclusive "B-Tube" technology: Unlike conventional "O" shaped oval radiator tubes, CSF utilizes specially engineered "B-shaped" tubes. These "B-tubes" are carefully formed and then seam-soldered for sealing. CSF can use thinner and lighter aluminum material (with greater cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than conventional "O" shaped welded tubes. The design (inlet opening in the middle of the tube, seam-soldered) increases the surface area of the tubes' heat exchange by approximately 15% compared to conventional tubes - the efficiency of two smaller tubes compared to one larger tube within the same space criteria. With "B-tubes," "dual-core laminar flow" can be achieved. CSF also uses highly efficient multi-louvered fins that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the radiator core. The fin characteristics are carefully measured and calculated for each application and tested in a wind tunnel for maximum heat dissipation efficiency.
