This radiator features a 2-row core with CSF's exclusive B-Tube Technology: Instead of standard 'O' style oval radiator tubes, CSF utilizes specially designed 'B' shaped tubes. These 'B-tubes' are carefully formed and then seam-soldered to seal. CSF can use thinner and lighter aluminum material (with greater cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than standard 'O' style welded tubes. The design (inlet opening in the middle of the tube, seam-soldered) increases the surface area of the tubes' heat exchange by approximately 15% compared to standard tubes - the efficiency of two smaller tubes compared to one larger tube within the same space criteria. With 'B-tubes', a 'dual-core' laminar flow effect can be achieved. CSF also uses hyper-efficient multi-louvered fins that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the radiator core. The fin characteristics are carefully measured and calculated for each application and tested in a wind tunnel for maximum heat dissipation efficiency.
