The design (inlet opening in the middle of the tube, seam-soldered) increases the surface area of the tubes' heat exchange by approximately 15% compared to standard tubes – the efficiency of two smaller tubes compared to one larger tube within the same space criteria. With the B-tubes, "dual-laminar flow" can be achieved. CSF also utilizes highly efficient louvered fins that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the radiator core.
