This radiator features a 2-row core with CSF's exclusive B-Tube Technology: Unlike traditional "O" style oval radiator tubes, CSF utilizes custom-designed, "B" shaped tubes. These B-tubes are meticulously formed and then seam-soldered to seal them. CSF can use a thinner, lighter aluminum material (with greater cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than traditional "O" style welded tubes. The design (inlet opening in the middle of the tube, seam-soldered) increases the surface area of the tubes' heat exchange by approximately 15% compared to conventional tubes – the efficiency of two smaller tubes versus one larger tube within the same space criteria. With the B-tubes, "dual laminar flow" can be achieved. CSF also utilizes highly efficient fin stocks that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the radiator core. The fin characteristics are carefully measured and calculated for each application and tested for maximum heat dissipation efficiency in a wind tunnel laboratory.
