This radiator features a 2-row core with CSF's exclusive B-Tube Technology: Unlike conventional "O" type oval radiator tubes, CSF utilizes specially engineered "B" shape tubes. These B-tubes are carefully formed and then seam-soldered to seal them. CSF can use a thinner, lighter aluminum material (with greater cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than conventional "O" shape welded tubes. The design (inlet opening in the middle of the tube, seam-soldered) increases the heat exchange surface area of the tubes by approximately 15% compared to standard tubes – the efficiency of two smaller tubes versus one larger tube within the same space criteria. With B-tubes, a "dual-row laminar flow" can be achieved. CSF also utilizes ultra-efficient fin stocks that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the radiator core. The fin characteristics are carefully measured and calculated for each application and tested for maximum heat dissipation efficiency in a wind tunnel laboratory.
