Designed for track or street use, this high-performance, all-aluminum radiator is a must-have for both high-horsepower vehicles and race cars requiring enhanced cooling efficiency in motorsport conditions. The triple-pass flow structure allows coolant to travel through the radiator core three times before exiting, ensuring minimal outlet temperature. This radiator features a 2-row core with CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology: Unlike conventional "O" style oval radiator tubes, CSF utilizes specially designed "B" shaped tubes. These B-tubes are carefully brazed and sealed along their seam. CSF can use thinner, lighter aluminum material (with greater cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than conventional "O" style welded tubes. The design (inlet opening in the middle of the tube, brazed along the seam) increases the heat exchange surface area of the tubes by approximately 15% compared to conventional tubes – the efficiency of two smaller tubes compared to one larger tube within the same space criteria. With the B-tube, a "dual laminar flow" can be achieved. CSF also utilizes highly efficient fin stocks that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the radiator core. Fin specs are carefully measured and calculated for each application and tested for maximum heat dissipation efficiency in a wind tunnel laboratory.
The CSF Audi/VW Radiator is a true "Drop-in fit" design requiring no modifications for installation. OE-style mounting brackets are CNC-machined and welded for maximum strength. The inlet/outlet ports are designed to match the OEM ports, allowing you to use OEM or aftermarket hoses.
