CSF 7089 High Performance Radiator for BMW 340i (F30) / 440i (F32) / M240i (F22) / M140i (F20/F21)

The original OEM BMW radiator features a plastic end tank with a single-row aluminum core. While considered a quality and durable unit, there is always room for improvement. The 4.5mm fins on the stock radiator made for an efficient enough system for factory installation. The radiator itself is one of the biggest limiting factors with a thickness of only 34mm and a single row of cooling.

The CSF radiator features the latest in 5mm fin technology. These fins significantly increase the surface area for heat exchange, boosting overall cooling efficiency and recovery while maintaining good airflow. The radiator core is substantially larger than the factory unit and consists of a 2-row, 42mm thick aluminum core. This increases the radiator's flow capacity and improves the core's ability to dissipate heat. CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology increases heat dissipation by approximately 15% compared to standard oval welded tubes. Additionally, the ultra-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the radiator core for optimal performance.

The 100% TIG-welded aluminum construction increases the overall strength of the radiator. This enhances durability and longevity, so you can be confident it will withstand demanding driving conditions. The CSF radiator is a direct fit and requires no modifications or cutting.

Although a 6.5mm fin version performed exceptionally well during testing, CSF always strives to offer the ultimate cooling solution. Before going into production, the design was updated to incorporate CSF's latest 5mm fin technology, which was introduced in late 2023. This new core specification provides even greater heat exchange surface area and thermal efficiency compared to the prototypes tested. CSF is confident that this radiator is ready for the most demanding racing conditions in the world.
