With over fifty years of experience in radiator manufacturing, CSF is the obvious choice when it comes to keeping your Audi's engine cool and performing at its peak. Designed for track or performance street use, this high-performance all-aluminum radiator is a must-have for any high-performance vehicle or race car that requires additional cooling efficiency in motorsport conditions. This radiator features a 2-row core with CSF's exclusive "B-Tube" technology: Unlike conventional "O" shaped radiator tubes, CSF uses specially engineered "B-shaped" tubes. These B-shaped tubes are carefully formed and then seam-soldered to seal them. CSF can use thinner, lighter aluminum material (with greater cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than conventional "O" tube welded construction. The design (inlet opening in the middle of the tube, seam-soldered) increases the surface area of the tubes' heat exchange by approximately 15% compared to conventional tubes – the efficiency of two smaller tubes compared to one larger tube under the same space constraints. With the B-tube, "dual-laminar flow" can be achieved. CSF also utilizes highly efficient fin stock that is carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the radiator core. The fin characteristics are carefully measured and calculated for each application and tested for maximum heat dissipation efficiency in a wind tunnel laboratory.
The CSF Audi Radiator is a true "Drop-in fit" design that requires no modifications for installation. OE-style mounting brackets are CNC-machined and welded for maximum strength. The inlet/outlet connections are designed to match the original connections, so you can use OEM or aftermarket hoses. Additionally, CSF has added an upgraded plate-style transmission cooler in the driver-side end tank for improved transmission cooling on automatic transmission vehicles (comes pre-plumbed for use on manual transmission vehicles).
