CSF has an extensive and successful history of manufacturing high-performance, heavy-duty radiators for off-road vehicles. In most off-road applications, the factory cooling system components can easily become overloaded. This can be due to high engine load during climbing or cooling fins becoming clogged with mud. The last thing you want is for your radiator to fail far from civilization.
OEM vs. CSF
The 2-row, 42mm all-aluminum core not only increases the radiator's fluid capacity but also enhances its heat dissipation capabilities. CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology increases heat transfer by approximately 15% compared to standard oval welded tubes. Additionally, the ultra-efficient multi-louvred fins maximize airflow through the core for optimal performance.
Efficiency is key when off-roading, as speeds are generally lower, and you end up relying on fans to move most of the air through the radiator. While factory fans do a decent job of pushing air through the radiator core, it's still less than during city driving. A larger and more efficient surface area will keep engine temperatures in check and ensure it performs powerfully.
Furthermore, the end tanks are constructed from high-quality aluminum and TIG-welded to the core for added durability. In contrast, the OEM crimped plastic end tank construction is far weaker and creates failure points where breakage is more likely. As the CSF radiator is designed as a true "plug-and-play" unit, installation requires absolutely no modifications, trimming, or cutting.
