CSF
The dual-row, 42mm all-aluminum core not only increases the radiator's flow capacity but also enhances its heat dissipation capabilities. CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology increases heat dissipation by approximately 15% compared to standard oval welded tubes found in many other aluminum radiators. Furthermore, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the radiator for optimal performance.
The end tanks are constructed from high-quality aluminum and TIG-welded to the core for added strength. In contrast, the plastic, crimped-on end tank construction used by OEM manufacturers is significantly weaker and creates failure points where breakage is more likely. As the CSF radiator is designed as a "Plug-and-Play" unit, no modifications, trimming, or cutting are required for installation. CSF even includes pre-cut, dual-sided adhesive foam strips to help seal the fan shroud to the radiator. This increases the efficiency of airflow from the fan.
Additionally, the CSF radiator features a built-in transmission fluid cooler. The transmission cooler is a heavy-duty, high-performance 5-plate design that connects to the factory lines. This upgraded, integrated cooler is excellent for handling the extra heat and load generated during towing, driving in lower gears, and on vehicles equipped with oversized tires. While many understand how large diameter tires affect performance, it's always beneficial to provide additional context. By increasing tire diameter, you effectively decrease the gear ratio. This means the engine and transmission have to work harder to get the tires moving. This obviously generates excess heat, and the CSF radiator is built to handle it.
