The dual-row, 42mm aluminum core not only increases the radiator's flow capacity but also enhances its heat dissipation. CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology increases heat dissipation by approximately 15% compared to standard oval welded tubes. Additionally, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the radiator core for optimal performance.
The end tanks are crafted from high-grade aluminum and TIG-welded to the core for added strength. In contrast, the OEM-style plastic clamp-on end tank construction is significantly weaker and creates failure points where breakage is more likely. As the CSF radiator is designed for a "plug-and-play" installation, no modifications, trimming, or cutting are required. CSF even includes pre-cut dual-sided adhesive foam strips to help seal the fan shroud to the radiator. This increases the efficiency of airflow from the fan.
Furthermore, the radiator features an integrated transmission cooler. The transmission cooler is a heavy-duty, high-performance 5-pass design that connects to the factory lines. The upgraded integrated cooler is excellent for handling the extra heat and load generated from towing, driving in lower gears, and vehicles equipped with oversized tires. While many understand the implications of running larger diameter tires, it's always beneficial to provide an extra boost. By increasing tire diameter, you decrease the effective gear ratio. This means the engine and transmission have to work harder to get the tires moving. Obviously, this generates excess heat, but the CSF radiator is built to handle it.
