CSF 8023 Universal Radiator - Dual Core with B-Tube Tech

The CSF R-1 Competition Triple Pass Radiator sets the bar for professional-grade cooling in any form of motorsport. Lab-tested in state-of-the-art testing facilities using industry-leading procedures including wind tunnel, vibration, thermal cycle, and burst pressure testing. Universal fitment allows for installation in a variety of configurations. The triple pass flow structure allows coolant to pass through the radiator core three times before exiting, ensuring minimal outlet temperatures. This radiator features a 2-row core with CSF's exclusive "B-Tube" technology: Unlike standard "O" type radiator oval tubes, CSF uses specially engineered "B-shaped" tubes. These "B-tubes" are carefully formed and then seam-soldered to seal. CSF can use thinner and lighter aluminum material (with greater cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than standard "O" shape welded tubes. The design (inlet opening in the middle of the tube, seam-soldered) increases the surface area of the tube's heat exchange by approximately 15% compared to standard tubes - the efficiency of two smaller tubes compared to one large tube within the same space criteria. With "B-tubes," "dual laminar fluid flow" can be achieved. CSF also utilizes highly efficient multi-louvered fins that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the radiator core. Fin characteristics are carefully measured and calculated for each application and wind tunnel tested for maximum heat dissipation efficiency.
