The BMW F8X S55 platform suffers significantly from heat soak. While the ideal solution is a front-mount intercooler paired with an upgraded charge cooler, you can still achieve substantial improvements by upgrading the heat exchanger alone. The system's ability to dissipate as much heat as possible is the weakest of the two bottlenecks.
