This radiator features a 2-row core with CSF's exclusive "B-Tube" technology: Unlike traditional "O" style radiator oval tubes, CSF uses specially designed "B" shaped tubes. These B-tubes are carefully formed and then seam-soldered to seal them. CSF can use thinner and lighter aluminum material (with greater cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than traditional "O" style welded tubes. The design (inlet opening in the middle of the tube, seam-soldered) increases the surface area of the tubes' heat exchange by approximately 15% compared to traditional tubes – the efficiency of two smaller tubes compared to one larger tube under the same space constraints. With the B-tube, "dual laminar flow" can be achieved. CSF also uses hyper-efficient fin stock that is carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the radiator core. The fin characteristics are carefully measured and calculated for each application and tested for maximum heat dissipation efficiency in a wind tunnel laboratory.
