Do not be fooled by other aftermarket performance options that utilize the OEM plastic shroud. The vertical channel of the stock shroud is specifically designed to work only with the spacing of the stock radiator tubes. When the stock shroud is fitted to an aftermarket radiator, it actually blocks a significant amount of surface area. This obviously has a negative impact on performance. During R&D, CSF analyzed both OEM and other aftermarket offerings and decided to go above and beyond. CSF re-engineered the included rock guard to allow for maximum flow to the radiator core while still providing adequate protection from small stones and road debris – all of which was validated in CSF’s own wind tunnel. The new CSF auxiliary radiator fits both the left and right side of the vehicle. Therefore, no modifications are required for installation. Each unit features CNC-machined mounting brackets and OEM-style “Quick Connect” inlet/outlet fittings. This ensures a plug-and-play installation that will not interfere with aftermarket aerodynamic modifications.
