The new CSF Porsche 992 Turbo/S intercooler system is a bolt-on modification that addresses the top-mounted intercooler placement of the 992. Since the introduction of the first water-cooled Porsche 911 Turbo with the 996 variant in 2001, the Turbo has been considered the "everyday supercar." With each subsequent generation, from the 997, then the 991, and now the new 992, the limits of usable performance have been pushed on streets, race tracks, and drag strips. The Porsche Turbo is one of the most advanced tuning platforms globally, with modifications ranging from simple bolt-ons and tune-ups to full-engine builds, upgraded turbochargers, and standalone ECU systems on cars producing over 1000 hp.

The most significant feature of the CSF by PWR 992 Turbo/S intercooler system is its Formula-1-grade intercooler cores. CSF's strategic relationship with PWR has allowed the incorporation of these cores, which are unlike any other available on the aftermarket. The intercooler cores are designed by CSF and custom-manufactured by PWR. Featuring dual-row, inner-finned, convoluted cooling tubes, these cores are the most efficient intercooler cores available.
