CSF 8197 High Performance Front Mount Intercooler for MERCEDES-Benz E63 AMG / AMG S

CSF has mastered the charge-air cooling system and offers a high-performance, all-aluminum Ultimate Intercooler for the Mercedes Benz AMG 5.5L V8 BiTurbo engine. This AMG V8 utilizes a water-cooled charge-air cooling system – a circuit (which flows via a pump to the charge-air cooler) and an intercooler (which uses water to cool the compressed air). The CSF high-performance intercooler is larger and cools the water more efficiently than the stock plastic/aluminum unit. Upgrading to a larger, more efficient intercooler significantly impacts the other elements of the charge-air cooling system – reducing Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) creating colder, denser air for increased power and improved heat soak reduction. The intercooler is also suitable for some 6.3L V8 AMG and 6.0L V12 AMG models as an auxiliary cooler.
