CSF 8200 Intake Manifold Charge-Air for TOYOTA GR Supra 3.0 L (A91) / BMW Z4 (G29) B58 engine
The new 2nd generation B58 engine found in the Mk5 Supra has already proven itself to be an incredible platform for performance enthusiasts, taking the performance and motorsport industry by storm in just a few short years since its release. Customers are already surpassing the 1000hp mark in their B58 powered vehicles equipped with the CSF manifold. The OEM water-cooled charge air intake manifold for the B58 engine is adequate for vehicles with few or no modifications, but it truly begins to show its weakness in vehicles with bolt-on modifications, turbo upgrades, increased fueling (e.g., port injection), and tuning. The OEM intercooler system is also known to suffer from heat soak in demanding track conditions such as time attack, endurance racing, drag racing, drifting, and even aggressive street driving. This can lead to high Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) causing the engine to pull timing, and if a certain temperature threshold is reached, the vehicle's ECU may engage "limp mode" as it attempts to protect the engine.
