The CSF heat exchanger features a 42mm thick dual-row (vs. OEM single-row) core with CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology. The increased core size and end tank volume increases the overall system capacity, helping to absorb more heat. The more efficient core not only helps dissipate more heat from the system but also allows for better airflow to the radiator located behind the heat exchanger. For vehicles equipped with the ZF8 automatic transmission, the heat exchanger's performance was developed in conjunction with CSF's new Race-Spec dual-core transmission oil cooler (CSF #8221). The included pair of Black Rock Guard protective grilles provide full protection for the heat exchanger (above and below the support), especially when paired with the "open face" racing grilles. These grilles have become very popular for their performance and aesthetics, and protecting the heat exchanger from debris is crucial. With over 100 hours of track testing and thousands of miles driven on the road, you can be confident that the new CSF High-Performance Front Mount Heat Exchanger has been thoroughly tested and validated.
