CSF 8331 High-Performance Heat Exchanger and Transmission Cooler Module for BMW X3M (F97) / X4M (F98)

TIG-welded aluminum tanks are significantly larger than OEM plastic tanks, providing superior strength and fluid capacity. A larger, 42mm dual-row core increases cooling efficiency and capacity. This high-performance core utilizes CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology, maximizing airflow and heat dissipation. CSF's multi-louvered fins significantly increase the surface area for heat exchange, enhancing overall cooling efficiency and recovery while maintaining proper airflow.

The 100% aluminum construction ensures optimal performance and durability. The mounting tabs and brackets are significantly stronger and more durable than the OEM plastic construction. Additionally, the intercooler features a bolt-on integrated protective shroud for cooler safety. This shroud is metal and much stronger than the factory plastic unit. You can now be confident that your cooling system is well-protected from debris.

The CSF transmission cooler features a unique dual-pass design for maximum cooling efficiency. CSF engineers devised this unique design to utilize the extra space that was occupied by the stock cooler and oversized plastic bracket from the factory. This design essentially doubles the cooling capacity while fitting perfectly in the OEM location without any modifications.

By transitioning from the OEM single-core design to a dual-core design, CSF was able to increase the overall volume by 201%. This design provides a significant improvement in heat dissipation and increases the cooling capacity of the coolers. Utilizing CSF's AC Condenser technology, a 1-row, 16mm, 9-channel high-pressure micro-tube optimizes oil flow and provides maximum surface contact. These features combined provide the best heat rejection from the system.
