CSF 8351 High-Performance Intercoolers for BMW M5 (G90 / G99)

The CSF intercooler cores feature approximately double the volume compared to the factory units. CFD analysis and testing were utilized in their development to achieve optimal performance and a perfect fit. Both intercoolers are equipped with OEM "Quick Connect" water fittings and sensor ports, ensuring a quick and easy installation.

The weak stock plastic end tanks with crimped fittings have been replaced with larger, CFD-designed, and fully TIG-welded CSF cast end tanks. Additionally, CSF has integrated the charge pipe into the top end tank design, eliminating the factory plastic charge pipes bonded to the housing. This one-piece cast construction results in a significantly stronger system capable of withstanding much higher boost pressures.

The outlet end tanks feature integrated dual 1/8 NPT ports for the quick installation of methanol or nitrous injection systems. Their placement is engineered to deliver the mixture directly into the airflow post-cooling for maximum efficiency.

Installation Notes:

Minor modifications are required for installation. The mounting pins where the intercoolers sit will need to be slightly trimmed to allow the CSF coolers to sit in the correct position. It is also recommended to trim the balance tube for improved fitment. Installation requires precise fitting, and the final appearance is dependent on the installer's skill.
