Fits directly into the specified car models! The BigPack consists of an all-aluminum intercooler and a complete package with 2.5” aluminum charge pipes and silicone hoses. This package replaces everything between the turbo and the throttle body, thereby providing drastically improved flow/cooling effect compared to the original. The intercooler is manufactured with CAD-designed flow-optimized cast end tanks and a carefully selected core to achieve the best possible cooling effect with the lowest possible pressure drop! The charge pipes are made of 2.5” extruded aluminum tubes that have been mandrel-bent in one piece to the correct shape! The pipes reverse the flow through the intercooler so that the air going up to the throttle body is taken from the bottom of the intercooler. This pipe routing is 55cm shorter than the original, which increases throttle response. Specially designed high-quality silicone hoses with 4-layer polyester/aramid reinforcement to withstand high temperatures and pressures. It is worth noting that the original intercooler and charge pipes were designed for the power the car had from the factory, and with increased power or very hard use of the car in its original configuration, their performance is no longer sufficient. So, even with increased boost pressure / software upgrade / chipping, our BigPack will provide improved performance! A common misconception is that you cannot get good cooling effect from an intercooler with an original placement and that a front-mounted intercooler / FMIC would be much better. But in reality, the do88 BigPack is far superior to most FMIC installations where only a core with too small a cooling area can be fitted, and often with partially blocked air supply from, for example, a crash bar, which in many cases can result in worse cooling effect than the original intercooler. The do88 BigPack comes with all necessary parts for installation in the car. Installation is done on original mounts. Note! The air duct to the air filter box does not fit when installing these charge pipes. It can be installed if the hose end towards the throttle body is cut by approximately 25mm.
