Significant advantages of do88 high-performance intercooler (compared to original intercooler):

Manufactured entirely from aluminum with CAD-designed, flow-optimized cast end tanks and a carefully selected core (60mm thick) to achieve the best possible cooling effect along with the lowest possible pressure drop! It is worth noting that the original intercooler was designed for the power the car had from the factory, and when increasing power or during very hard use of the car in its original configuration, its performance is no longer sufficient. So, even with increased boost pressure / software upgrade / chipping, our intercooler will provide improved performance! The original intercooler has plastic end tanks that cannot withstand higher boost pressures for extended periods, which is why our intercooler also provides increased operational reliability. A common misconception is that you cannot get good cooling performance from an intercooler with this placement and that a front-mounted intercooler / FMIC would be much better. But in reality, the do88 high-performance intercooler is far superior to most FMIC installations where only a core with too small a cooling area can be fitted, and often also with partially blocked air supply from, for example, the crash bar, which in many cases can result in worse cooling performance than the original intercooler.
