Background

Specifically designed for BMW M340i/Z4 and Toyota GR Supra, our do88 Transmission Cooler ensures smooth and efficient gear changes. Although the latest Supra / M340i / Z4 lacks a manual gearbox, the fast ZF 8HP transmission combined with the B58 engine compensates for the driving experience. However, just like with all sports cars, heat is a challenge, especially in tuned cars that generate much more heat during demanding driving on the street, track, or drag strip.

Our Solution

The 2019+ BMW M340i/Z4 and GR Supra models already come with an original liquid-to-air transmission cooler. However, the heat generated by tuned cars can often exceed the capacity of the original cooler. With this in mind, our engineers designed a new core for the transmission cooler: the core volume was increased by 184% and the active cooling area by an impressive 176%, while maintaining an equivalent pressure drop. We upgraded the tubes to harmonic tubes which have internal channels, providing optimal cooling efficiency. Whether you spend a day on the track or enjoy inspiring street driving, the do88 Transmission Cooler helps keep temperatures in check.
