Our Solution

To address this issue, do88 has developed a charge pipe system specifically for the 2021+ BMW G8X M2/M3/M4 models. Our charge pipe system is 15% less restrictive than the original, significantly improving flow and tuning potential. Our cast Y-pipe replaces the fragile plastic pipe with a robust cast aluminum Y-pipe, which significantly increases durability and prevents costly failures. Our design features optimized transitions between all pipe connections and hoses to minimize restrictions and improve airflow. We use CNC-machined turbo and throttle body adapters to ensure leak-free operation, and a larger throttle body adapter to match the throttle's inner diameter. To further enhance functionality, our charge pipes come with two 1/8 NPT ports for, for example, methanol injection or pressure sensors; plugs are included for those who choose not to use these ports. Our tests show that our charge pipes achieve a flow of 960 CFM @ 150mbar (2.17psi), which is a significant improvement compared to OEM's 835 CFM, and ensures both improved durability and performance.

Installation

Our charge pipe system for the 2021+ BMW G8X M2/M3/M4 is designed to easily replace the original. The system comes with everything needed: silicone hoses, mandrel-bent charge pipe from the rear turbo, and the cast aluminum Y-pipe, to replace everything in the original system. This design not only increases durability against heat and pressure but also fits seamlessly into the engine bay. Installation instructions are provided to guide you through the assembly process.
