The S58 Engine Cooling System

The B58 engine's cooling system features three radiators mounted at the front of the car: one main radiator and two smaller auxiliary radiators positioned in front of both front wheels. Tuned engines produce significantly more heat than stock, making it challenging to maintain optimal engine temperature during intense driving on the street, track, or drag race. The original auxiliary radiators have small cores and plastic end tanks, which are not ideal for tuned cars. Upgrading these auxiliary radiators will help ensure optimal engine temperature.

Our Solution

Fortunately, there is room for both increased frontal area and core thickness on both sides of the car. The original radiator is the same for both sides; we have designed our do88 Radiator to be a drop-in fitment for both the left and right sides. We sell them as a pair because upgrading only one radiator is not as effective as upgrading both simultaneously. Our do88 Radiators provide increased cooling capacity and thus help prevent engine overheating.

Installation

Installation is straightforward; our radiators come with CNC-machined mounting brackets and OE-style "Quick Connect" inlet/outlet connections. The original stone guard can be easily attached to our radiators to protect against small stones and other road debris.
