The Girodisc brake rotor is a direct replacement for your factory rotors and comes with caliper spacers. By increasing the rotor diameter to 350mm (from the factory 330mm), this system provides increased braking force and improved cooling efficiency. This upgrade allows for better brake response and reduced fade without the need for an expensive big brake kit.

The rotor's center hat is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, and the friction ring is cast from Girodisc's proprietary iron, manufactured and machined in the USA. The internal vane structure, featuring curved vanes derived from racing technology, creates a powerful centrifugal airflow that effectively cools the rotor during aggressive braking.

The floating mount consists of ten cadmium-plated, high-strength steel pins that transfer braking loads and allow for axial and radial float between the rotor and the hub. These are secured with grade 12.9 strength bolts and hardened washers. Spring-type anti-knockback springs eliminate cooling noise and allow for thermal expansion. Only the cast iron rotor ring needs to be replaced during service.
