The rotor hat is precision-machined from US-sourced, aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum. The friction ring is cast and machined from GiroDisc's proprietary cast iron at their US-based manufacturing facility. The curved vane design ensures superior cooling through a centrifugal effect.

The floating mount features ten cadmium-plated, high-tensile steel standoffs, allowing the rotor to expand freely under heat while maintaining precise positioning. Anti-knockback springs eliminate rotor knock at low temperatures and ensure the rotor stays centered between the brake pads.
