GiroDisc brake rotors are designed as direct replacements for factory components, requiring no modifications. The rotor hat is crafted from US-sourced, aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum. The friction ring is made from GiroDisc's proprietary cast iron, which is cast and machined in-house in the USA. The curved vane design ensures efficient cooling through a centrifugal effect.
The floating mount features ten cadmium-plated, high-strength steel drive pins, allowing the rotor to expand freely under heat while maintaining precise positioning. Anti-knockback springs eliminate rattle at low temperatures and ensure the rotor stays centered between the pads.
