GiroDisc brake rotors are designed as direct replacements for factory components, requiring no modifications. They install using the original calipers, maintaining factory brake bias and proper ABS function. This is the ideal solution for enhancing braking performance without altering the system's geometry.
The rotor hat is precision-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, sourced exclusively from the USA. The friction ring is crafted from GiroDisc's proprietary cast iron, cast and machined at their own US-based manufacturing facility. The curved vane design ensures efficient cooling through a centrifugal effect.
The floating mount system features ten cadmium-plated, high-strength steel standoffs, allowing the rotor to expand freely under heat while maintaining precise positioning. Anti-rattle spring washers eliminate low-temperature knock and ensure the rotor remains centered between the pads.
