The Akrapovic Evolution Performance exhaust system for the BMW M3 is engineered to significantly increase power, improve engine response, and reduce weight. The system features dual-outlet mufflers, optimized link pipes, and an X-section with high-flow 100 cpsi sports catalytic converters and resonators.
A noticeable increase in horsepower and torque is achieved across a broad RPM range, enhancing the car's responsiveness in all driving conditions. Combined with a substantial weight reduction, the Evolution system dramatically improves the BMW M3's power-to-weight ratio.
The sound profile is tuned for a deep, resonant tone during relaxed cruising and an aggressive roar under spirited driving. The aesthetic can be further enhanced with an optional set of two titanium or carbon fiber tailpipes.
When installing optional Akrapovic downpipes with or without sports catalytic converters, intended exclusively for closed circuits, ECU remapping is mandatory. For Akrapovic exhaust systems designed for track use, ECU remapping is recommended to prevent "check engine" warnings.
This product does not meet emissions requirements for on-road use.
