AKRAPOVIC S-ME/T/6H Evolution Line Exhaust System (Titanium) for MERCEDES-BENZ AMG CLA45 / CLA45S (C118/X118)

This exquisite, weight-optimized exhaust system, crafted from high-quality, lightweight titanium, features an attractive design with two pairs of titanium and carbon fiber tailpipes, creating a stunning visual effect. A specially designed exhaust valve, cast in our own foundry, regulates the sound profile and is controlled electronically via our proprietary Control Kit, allowing the driver to select the level of sportiness using the AMG Dynamic Select system. The system is an auditory delight for all, with settings ranging from a comfortable everyday mode with a smooth sound that enhances the car’s engine tone without any discomfort or drone, to a sporty acoustic experience with deep mid-tones and a rich high-frequency sound at the top of the rev range, amplifying the sensation of gear shifts and providing an amazing crackle on acceleration. The distinct design, construction, and configuration of the system compared to the stock system allow for weight savings and optimization of engine power and torque, increasing them across the entire rev range: gains of 6.4 kW at 6400 rpm and 9.1 Nm at 6700 rpm were demonstrated in consecutive dyno tests by Akrapovič against a Mercedes-AMG A 45 with a standard stock exhaust. The exhaust flow provides tuning potential that can be further enhanced with the optional Downpipe (SS).

The system is ECE type-approved for cars equipped with an Otto/gasoline particulate filter, but if the optional Downpipe (SS) is installed, the ECE type-approval for the Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system is no longer valid.

When ordering, please note that both part numbers, S-ME/T/6H and L-ME/SS/3, must be ordered as the system is split into two codes for packaging reasons.

Installation Note: This product can be fitted to CLA 45 S Shooting Brake models.

Please note that for facelifted vehicles, the mandatory control kit P-HF1528 must be ordered.
