This radiator features a 2-row core with CSF's exclusive B-Tube Technology: Unlike conventional "O" style oval radiator tubes, CSF utilizes specially designed "B" shape tubes. These B-shape tubes are carefully formed and then seam-soldered to seal them. CSF can use thinner, lighter aluminum material (with greater cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than conventional "O" style welded tubes. The design (inlet opening in the middle of the tube, seam-soldered) increases the heat exchange surface area of the tubes by approximately 15% compared to conventional tubes – the efficiency of two smaller tubes compared to one larger tube under the same space criteria. With the B-Tube, "dual-row laminar flow" can be achieved. CSF also utilizes highly efficient fin stocks that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the radiator core. Fin specs are carefully measured and calculated for each application and tested for maximum heat dissipation efficiency in a wind tunnel laboratory.
