A front-axle carbon-ceramic brake kit with 395 mm front rotors for the BMW M760Li G12 (2017–2022). Rear axle parts and 370 mm rear rotors are not included.

Why choose carbon ceramic over factory cast-iron front rotors?

• Lower rotating mass. STOPFLEX carbon-ceramic rotors can weigh substantially less than comparable iron discs; the exact difference depends on size and design. Less mass at the front axle reduces the load the suspension must control.
• High-temperature stability. C/SiC friction material is designed for repeated hard braking and high thermal duty, helping resist fade. Overall brake performance also depends on pads, brake fluid and cooling.
• No typical iron flash rust on the friction surface. Unlike cast iron, the ceramic braking surface does not develop the characteristic orange rust after rain or storage.
• Less visible brake dust. Matched front CCB pads are selected to reduce visible dark dust on the wheels.
• Long-Fiber construction. Continuous carbon fibers run through the rotor body and are designed for strength and repeated thermal cycles.

STOPFLEX states that under normal road use, CCB rotor life can reach approximately 250,000–300,000 km. This is a manufacturer estimate, not a mileage guarantee. Actual service life varies with driving style, heat cycles, pads, contamination, installation and bedding-in.
